Cheers Jim time will tell. One thing we have noticed when it's in EV mode is that every creek and squeak can be heard when getting it out the garage so will have to find out if this is usual on Hybrids or if they were there before but were hidden by the noise of a petrol engine or if anyone knows on here??

Nice car Paul, we bought both our old Yaris from the same dealer. We’re still thinking about a hybrid Rav but waiting for the new model to arrive in the new year. I’m not sure if the place is still there we had reverse sensors fitted from it used to be fletchers virtually right next to the expressway towards Aston university. The first Yaris came as part of the deal from Toyota Solihull. Have you made a comparison of fuel costs between your old Rav and the Yaris?

Cheers Ash :TU: Fletchers now there's a name I haven't heard mentioned in years and haven't been there since the 80s I bet so not sure if they are still open Ash to be honest we tend to keep away from the city these days if we can help it  No fuel comparison Ash but when we were out on Monday I was having a play with the monitor and I think it was saying our average was 59mpg but will have a better look when I get a chance, but if it is that's almost double what the Rav used to show at 30.2mpg which was slightly generous I believe, and the more modern ones are more accurate I believe?? The Hybrid Rav we had for two weeks Ash was great once Mrs P had got used to it, I can only talk from a passengers point of view but Mrs P liked it that much that she wanted an Hybrid with the automatic gearbox and was willing to PX her beloved 2004 Rav which has been her favourite car of all time, and so far she is really enjoying the little Yaris, even though it's the same size as the Rav more or less

Fletchers was a good place to buy service parts and stocked virtually anything and everything including tiger print seat covers 😂😂😂 not that I bought any. I honestly don’t know if they are still there as I’ve not been around there for years myself. 😊

I was into my Heralds and Vitesses stage then so never did much good with Fletchers. spent most my time down at John Hills in Redditch and a place in Coventry that specialised in Triumph spares Kippings I think it was, plus many hours in the scrap yards climbing four or five cars up with a bag of tools to get that part
