Who can blame France or any country for banning UK people??? If Boris had acted fast at the beginning of this lot maybe we wouldn’t be up it .... To slow......

So, what can you do in a lockdown? Develope new theories... I read and watched numerous interviews, and all are saying that the so called new strain has been known about from about September, and the latest noise is a backfire on Boris using it as an excuse to cancel the 5 families together thingie, and France sees it as an opportunity to get back at the UK for leaving the EU. Going into the shelter now... France is only one of about 40 countries that have restricted movement to and from the uk, a large proportion of them are not eu members, France is getting the flack becouse it happends to be the primary link for freight. You had to ruin my theory, did you? Never mind, plenty of time to perfect it... Also, all followed France...

That's the gym shut now for a minimum of 3 weeks, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! I collect surplus dated perishable food 7 nights a week...and have 4 groups/hostels who will take it. However lots of foodbanks have closed for Christmas!! And I will cancel one collection tomorrow night as van't get volunteers ! If I get any lettuce, I'll change its date and sell it at a premium given we will be running out of lettuce. Same with fruit !
Cos Australia has a trade war with China, China has stopped buying lobster apparently so it's lobster for Christmas dinner all round ! Good for the Barb!

Luckily we're shut until 4th Jan.
10 days off , then work at normal in the plumbing trade.
I guess the roads will be quieter in the new year in Essex.
I'll be hiking some days, watching telly & utube , films etc.
At work until midday today.

Monday night...collected half a ton of turkeys from a well known high end supermarket....ticket price value £5,000 - almost all given to families in food poverty. Unreal !

As most of the UK is now at tier 4 and you are supposed to stay indoors,( seems like more and more selfish morons won't ) what do you do to pass the time? Over here when we were in a stronger lockdown than the UK we used to read a lot so my suggestion is that anyone else who likes to read posts the book title etc that they are reading now?
I have just finished "The law of Innocence" from Michael Connelly and have now started "Disarming Hitler's V Weapons" all about bomb disposal of V1 and V2 rockets by Chris Ransted.

Have read the whole series of Michael Connelly Harry Bosch and Micky Haller books. Currently reading 'How to build a car' by Adrian Newey and have 'Lights out full throttle' by Damon Hill and Johnny Herbert waiting in the wings. I tend to binge read and then leave off for some time.

Reading Harlan Coben's "The Boy From The Woods". I reckon that I'm about half way through his books. Great author. Highly recommended. 👍

Waiting for Boris and his latest statement......😩 so we’re back in lockdown again. I just hope people who’ve been not taking this seriously start doing so now.
