Got my text yesterday, booked in for second jab next Saturday afternoon. One of the lads here (Who had a bad dose of Covid when I had mine in Dec) had his last Saturday, only came back into work today, had the jab and felt like he had Covid all over again, weird how it affects us all differently

Just returned from an incredibly blustery and blowy Bath Race course where I ended up for my second jab. Pre-jab nurse was both knowledgeable and humorous and gave some helpful advice re. after effects. Basically drink lots of water, take a couple of paracetamol before bed and another couple on rising in the morning. Younger folk more likely to have after effects as immune system should to be stronger. Administering nurse was very experienced and I didn't feel a thing. I just made sure I got the correct vaccine and not Ketamine.........

Well, pleased to say that I have not had any after effects with the second dose. Bit tired now but I think that is down to looking after five young children for the day

Anyway, I'd have thought a class of 5 would be dead easy compared with what you were used to in the past

My wife Jane had her first jab a few weeks ago (Pfizer) no symptoms not even a bad arm, her second jab yesterday she feels a little cold today (which is unusual for her) but the weather has also changed to damp and cold so maybe nothing to do with the jab, otherwise she is fine so far. I am eligible from next week so will let you know after i have mine. Just been for my first jab (pfizer) this afternoon as yet no symptoms (not even a bad arm Charlie, well maybe a little bit). Go for my next one on the 18th of June. Just had second jab, so far so good just a slightly sore arm.
