We both liked the Yaris Hybrid we had Jase but did miss the height of the Rav, especially me, and do feel safer in the Rav

The wife has now decided she likes the new Yaris hybrid.. I have to admit it looks a nice wee motor. I prefer the car you have to any Yaris..... See that black Rav of yours. You keep that for say another 3 years it won’t cost you a dime. Might even go up a bit. Put a pile of rupees into a Yaris and it’ll loose more than half in two years. Get in the Gym and work that leg/knee of yours. I’ve had that same arthritis for nearly ten years so I train my way out of it. Not easy I know and I’m not taking the pi$$ but just go and give it a try. 👍👍

One or two a day keep the pain away almost all the time. They don't work for everybody but a lot cheaper than a new car. 😅

That's unfortunate, Jase. But everybody's ailment is unique so what works for one won't necessarily work for another. For me they've been brilliant. If I run out or forget to renew supplies in time, I start getting pain in a day or two. Keep researching though as there may well be a natural remedy out there that works for you. 👍

We've been using Glucocasamine for a few years as we were told about em by elderly friends we know who swear by it and must admit it has helped mine and Mrs Ps knees and joints, and as Jim said if we don't take em for a few days we do feel the difference

To be honest I didn't expect it to but thought it was worth a try and both my wife and I use it. Spray on, rub in and after a while the pain goes or reduces. My wife suffers more extreme pain than me and she sometimes needs strong painkillers as well. Worth trying: BetterYou Magnesium Sleep Body Spray - 100ml www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002VPDX56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IkiZFbBYYVR49?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1Just seen they do another version for joints so I have ordered that to try in case it is even better!

Thanks for the recommendation David I will look into it My wife has ME and fibromyalgia but doesn't want to be beaten by it. She had a fear of water due to a childhood incident but the doctor recommended aqua aerobics and I found swimming lessons for her too. Luckily she had a really supportive teacher who apparently I had taught science to in the 80s ! Anyway my wife embraced swimming and swam every day until covid closed the pool. She was pretty anxious that without swimming her mobility would suffer. Fortunately I found a local yoga instructor and my wife has started online yoga which has really helped. Anyway her yoga instructor suggested the magnesium spray and I checked with my oldest son first because he is knowledgeable on health matters and he gave it the green light. I was amazed when it actually helped!

I think we should start a new thread for 'Remedies that members have found effective in treating Old Farts aches, pains and afflictions'
