Well thanks to Bob for pointing me to the site that sells this fluid and to Kev for pointing me in the right direction, i had three bottles of these turn up today thinking i'd only ordered two, thought i'd got a bottle free until i rechecked the order:-X Are specsavers open yet not sure, but a quick trip to Barnard castle will get you sorted.

I kinda knew that but try to forget it....as the fluid in my Green Goddess is at least 6 years old and I really don't fancy bleeding the thing...specially as the brakes are so bad...rather just replace the anchor and rope!! Job could be made easier these days with a vacuum bleeder 👍🏻

Well everything is ready Bob as he's doing it tomorrow Where's the tea bags Paul? I reckon that big box is full of them David, it certainly would be if I was doing the job Paul - is the tube in the foreground Ceratec ( or similar ) grease for the pads - as recommended by Anchorman?

Tea bags coffee and summat a bit stronger if needed are all ready as well :TU: Chris it is what came with the kit and is called BremTech Pad Goo which is a "metal free paste for lubricating metal to metal braking components. Helps to eliminate brake noise/squeal." :TU:

Is that Anchormans video on the front brakes Chris as we are doing the rear brakes and discs Yes, but the general principles of what he shows are similar. If yours has the drum-in-disk handbrakes and you remove the disks, you will probably need to adjust the handbrake afterwards.

Both rear discs with new pads now fitted, handbrake adjusted and also bled the whole system :TU: The two bolts holding the calipers on were a bit of a bugger to loosen but managed it without any issues. Never had time to do the fronts today but looks like they do need doing soon  Mrs P and meself took it for a test drive and said she could feel the difference straight away so can't wait for the fronts to be done.
