I do not actually mean too much technology, I am 73 now and I am ashamed to say finding it very difficult to work things out on a day to day basis, I find the settings on the info, and audio very complicated and even the stalk controls on the steering column confusing, cruise control etc,tbh it's all a bit much for me I had a very basic Peugeot as a courtesy car one clock a few switches and it suited me fine 🙂 Stew Stu I’m horribly dyslexic which often limits my understanding of things technical… I usually get there but slowly. There are various screens I’ve never used on my car. I use the radio screen and the sat nav none of the others in the menu are any use to me so I never look at them. Switchgear I’m ok with 99% of the time. I’d owned my car for 7 or so years before I realised it had reverse sensors. I must of touched the button which activated them when cleaning probably. I thought because the car has a reverse camera the sensors in the bumper were dummies or not connected. The beauty of our wee IQ is there’s no kit on it. It’s very basic with sparse equipment which suits me. Only problem is if the radio needs tuning cos I have to get the gaffer to sort that out.l 👍👍 You’re absolutely correct, Charlie. The radio control on the IQ is an utter joke; very un-Toyota-like!

Well, kind of. “My” Rav is still owned by my best mate. He now also owns the MR2, but I still drive them both regularly. The Rav is handy because it has a towbar 👍 Anyway the Rav is off for a mot this weekend, fingers crossed. Still looks good, going strong, 135k on the clock now
