So, in a completely unexpected turn of events...i've bought an Evoque!!
Popped in to see my folks on Wednesday after work and one of my dads best mates was there. Discussing cars they were. Turns out his wife is looking to go electric. Wants to shift her 2014 Evoque.
Clarki thinks, oh, that's the zanzibar one, dynamic spec, 9 speed but still the 2.2, not the weedy 2.0. Turns out only done only 16k miles too.
Anyway, deal done. He was kind to me. Pick it up at the end of the month.
Good news is the rav is staying(ish). My best mate has been mumbling about getting a new daily. Quick phone call and he bit my hand off to take the rav.
Be interesting to see how a modern(ish) Land Rover copes with working for a living, after all the Rav currently takes it in its stride.

Daughter has an Evouqe.... Fabulous car with a great interior but a bit small..... I can have hers in October if I want it as it’s a company car which she will be offered if she wants it. Bit to small for my needs but if the numbers are right I will have it and move it on. 66 plate in red. Very nice !

Gearbox is excellent. Be nice to have a daily with an auto box. Interior is a nice step up tbh. Bit gloomy but the big panoramic roof helps cheer it up a bit. Nowhere near the space of the rav, and tbh that may be an issue for work, only time will tell. Rest of the time it's usually just me and the dog so that'll be fine. I just hope it's reliable. Always get the feeling that isn't a deffo for a JLR product, although the Evoque does seem to be one of the better ones. Fingers crossed!!

Daughters car has been utterly reliable and never had a single issue. It’s done 50K miles now as she travels up and down the country. 👍👍

Lovely design. Beautiful interior. Definitely upmarket. Pity it's a bloody LR!

Well, Saturday was the day. My beloved Rav drove off into the sunset!! 4 1/2 years and 41,000 miles of stress-free motoring
I was quite sad tbh!!
