Hello members been a while but I’m back again soon in a SUV. Sorry it’s not a RAV4 like my previous but it’s still similar. the Mini Clubman S is going and in its stead will be the new Cupra Ateca 300. Always wanted a RAV with power but unfortunately Toyota has not gone down the route. So it’s been up to Seat’s performance arm to turn out a 300 BHP machine and I couldn’t resist it. Looking forward to interacting with you all again. Hope the original oldies are still here. Cheers David ex GreyRacer.

Aye - still on the top side of the grass as some oldie friends(?) say. Tablets not working so now have a red coloured green goddess 4x4 petrol with blue and amber flashing lights; no power steering; barely any brakes and a rollover cage made from ash. 0-60 impossible unless careering down Ben Nevis in neutral. 0-40 in 2 hours.
My replacement for the rotted RAVs is a Volvo XC90 4x4ish oil-burning 5-door which has had a couple of niggling faults in the last 3 months - one being the windscreen washers packing up. I guess I got wasted by the reliability of the old RAVs. Will attempt to blow back the pipes, standing as far as I can from what appears to be a safety bag container on wheels.
