its that time again to cut and polish the headlamps on my Lexus and my daughters Aygo, I’ve done them both a few time but have never added a UV protection sealer afterwards, can anyone recommend a top quality product that just seals the headlamps, I fully take on board nothing will stop the sun doing it thing just want to give the headlamps a little lasting help ......cheers 👍🏻

Not a sealer as such Bob but I have to say that the 'Ventureshield' film I had applied to the lenses on the RAV back in '08 seems to have kept the yellowing at bay. I've been very impressed since the car, when parked at the house, faces south so gets the full effect of the sun [that yellow ball in the sky Kev :yes:]

I don’t think there is a sealer that will offer a permanent solution. Might slow it down but not for long.
The reason they fade is because they are made from Recycled plastic..... Plastic guttering used on houses will not fade if it’s made from new material. If it’s recycled stuff it fades horribly.

Got a bottle of Meguiars sealant in garage Bob.....got to say, since applying it a couple of years back after headlight cleaning, it has worked NOT WAN IOTA.....! It is utter piddle.......PM your address and I will send it doon......I may get closure from somebody else wasting their time with it.....LOL.....,

The makers of our new van recommend Bufa BF150 extra fine ref 8052523 which will prevent yellowing on the plastic parts of the van. Sadly I am having difficulty finding it!!
