This is an interesting video and I think is a good example of a clean and logical process of working on a car. I'm impressed

I’ve looked at a few of them now on the Prius and Lexus rx400h, seems the fan that cools them has a filter which if blocked can over heat the batteries. I like the logical way the cells come apart.

I was quite surprised how small the battery bank was on the Prius. I know it is a Hybrid, not a 100% electric, but I understand the range on Battery alone to be fairly decent. I've only driven a Prius a little bit (owner had a fall in the OHs pop-up shop so I became a chauffeur to the Doctor, Chemist and their home, then returned car a few hours later) and quite enjoyed it. Some of those old batteries could be handy in a Campervan, arranged in a suitable manner, if only a few had failed

Looks from Wikipedia that 2nd Gen is 25 miles and 1st gen is half that. Thought it was a little more that that, but the batteries are NiMH rather than the much better Lithium.
