Is there any alternative than the £204 +vat that Mr T wants for a few metal linkage bars with plastic sockets ?
Mine has popped out and now pops every time . Tried ebay but MOT is due on 1st Jan, so no time for that.

Which linkage in particular? Photo would help. I suspect a breaker would be the cheapest option other than a DIY solution of some kind. Out of interest, why did iy pop out in the first place? Did it jam up or something?

Thanks Davrav, updated now ( forgot to after site change ).
Not sure why it popped out, it's the plastic socket that fits onto the ball at the end of the short bar coming from the motor.
Tried drilling a small hole through the plastic socket and the top of the male mating part, but using a self tapper, it didn't hold.
I suspect it would if I tapped a threaded hole instead and used a small bolt.
No time for that as I've no taps, and same with breaker.

I've had this with others cars in the past & one solution is to get a plastic bag put it over the ball, then force the socket back over it, then tear away the rest of the bag, this will only work when it's worn & not broken.
