Very good cars those. I would buy one no problem at all. Agree. A good, solid, reliable car. I've always had alot of time for Skodas even in the old days of the Estelle, etc. when Skoda was independent and were the but of snobs' jokes. They were good cars then too.
I found an 09-reg Roomster TDi for my brother-in-law to replace his aging C-Max recently. Bloody impressive car it is.
I wanted her indoors to have a Yeti but she loves the wee IQ Auto. It runs on fumes like my one does. Not sure if I ever mentioned that ??

When I was looking for a replacement for my first (2005) RAV4 back in 2010 I expected to buy a Skoda Yeti. Always liked the look (considered it was like a revised original Honda HR-V) and arranged a test drive. Salesman was a right dickhead though, so it started off on the wrong foot and the car was very claustrophobic inside as well. Ended up with a Nissan Qashqai instead, which was an excellent car (did 4,000 miles in 10 days on a Euro Roadtrip a few months later) and would definately consider one again. I tried the newly released (in 2006) Grand Vitara before I bought the first RAV (looking for replacement for the HR-V) and while I really liked the looks, the inside was a bit of a mismatch and the engine choice was poor - thirsty Petrol (didn't realise just how bad the RAV petrol was at that time!) and the Diesel (from Renault?) was awful.

A couple of years back, MBH took a liking to the Yeti and we went to the local Skoda dealer for a look. Unfortunately they also had a very nice Octavia VRS estate in the shade of metallic blue that Ford used to call Blue Pacifica and I consequently had no interest in the Yeti, brilliant car that it is.
I still hanker after a VRS and have the odd look on Autotrader now and again. Would have to be blue or white though.

I tried a yeti when looking at the rav, very small inside I thought. Otherwise drove nice and looked a bit funny.
Skoda is a big step back from the Q5 in "posh"land too!!
