Black icon model.
It's done 6500 miles , looks ok but I have to say - build quality is lacking compared to her 07 zinc Yaris
It's all thinner plastic, the door handles creak when grabbed. The center heater controls panel feels flimsy.
Even the gear knob, the thin leather under the chrome surround has worn out already.
She's happy to have a newer model, and needs to learn it all again. ( her driving is worrying me now )
But the Yaris somehow doesn't seem as good as it used to be.😔

My mum is on her 3rd Yaris, think it's a 2015 car. It's petrol and it's awful tbh.
Her Mk1 d4d on the other hand, that was ace. Loads of poke, great to drive and even looked ok back then.

We had a Mk 1 with the 1.3L petrol engine and autobox plus the factory Toyota body kit. It was a quite brilliant little car!!

Mrs Ps Yaris is a cracking little motor and am truly surprised how good it is, so far, touch wood but can't compare it to the previous models

We’ve had 3 Yaris all brand new and never had any problems with them. The last one we bought was an 06 Tspirit which we had for 5 years never let us down eve. Not driven any of the newer ones so can’t say much. Compared to the other small cars I think we’d go for the Yaris again if we were to buy another

From what I can see Bob, from the passenger seat... It's smooth manual and drives nicely, but the interior isn't brilliant. And it's black, nice when clean but she never washes it. I need to give it a clean for her before proper winter sets in. And it's her first 5 door car.
