Hi Sorry I have also posted this in the 2018 French gp thread, but realised that people might not read it as it was an old thread.
Did anyone go to the French gp, or know anyone who did? I had long planned to go to the Spanish gp next year with a friend, but just discovered that it clashes with my friends father's 90th birthday, so now looking at the French gp (both are within a few hours drive of where I live).
The plan is to do the whole Thursday to Sunday and hopefully camping at the circuit with my old camper van.
Unfortunately as yet no tickets or information is available and I wondered if anyone here had any experience from this year.
Quite a few reviews I have read were good for the track but bad for access, but hopefully that will not be a problem if camping on site.

Not the French GP but I want to do Spa, wanted to go this year, but definitely on the cards for next year, I intend to drive down in the buggy & camp, so I'm looking at this company www.campingf1.com/events/french_grand_prix

Hi Thanks for the info, I had a look but they appear to be very expensive, 2 people and a camper van works out at £240 for the French GP, just for comparison if you look at their prices for camping at the Barcelona GP they are quoting £140, but if you go to www.bookf1.com they are quoting 45€ for the Barcelona GP, unfortunately the ticket sales aren't open yet for the French GP on bookF1.com, so I have signed up so they will let me know when they are available.
