You can scrap this request, although it would be nice to know what people think.
My Rav was in for its annual interim service and needs two front tyres (I did know this already and one has a nail in it) was offered Bridgestone Duellers which I hate.
Spoke to the service manager and said if he can get me two Goodyear Efficientgrip SUV 235/55R18 100V for a decent price, he can have my business.
I have had these on since June 2015 and now have 2.5mm left, but a whopping 6mm on the rears.
So my own research into these in 2015 proved worthwhile, so I'll stick with these for another round.

Simple question... Nexen or Avon ? Want to try something different. It's a long time since I've had Avons on a motor, last one was a LR Discovery in the early '90's. Charlie is a great fan of Vredestien Quatracs which would fulfill your "something different" criteria. I've just fitted a set of Vredestiens to my summer wheels and am very pleased with the handling. Too early yet to comment on their wear qualities as they have only been in use for a few weeks. |

The Goodyears are £111.30 each at MyTyres (free delivery) which gives you a price for reference and a source if he doesn't come-up with the goods.  |
