Has anyone ( Charlie? ) any experience of ceramic polish? I'm suspecting that the ceramic element is very fine abrasive but I'm finding it difficult to get any definitive information. I ask the question because I saw one of my daughters neighbours making a surperb job of polishing his BMW recently and he said it was ceramic polish.

It’s an ultra low cut polish ideal for preparing the surface of paint for ceramic sealants.
The finish on your neighbors car could be very different depending on the start point condition and also the colour which can make the finish look much better or not so.
Menzerna PO 85 RD is an exceptional low cut polish that will outperform any of those ceramic or so called nano polishes. It’s also a fraction of the price.
I use almost exclusively Menzerna polishes.
In short it’s rebranding/ repacking of old stuff with a bit of bull thrown in...

The car was a sky blue colour and the guy in question works for a well know company in Oxfordshire that only produces "two" cars a year and I would expect their main concern to be the smoothest possible surface without worrying too much about how long it lasts! I only use the Menzerna products on my RO polished ( having listened to you over the years ) and am delighted with the results. As an aside, I was washing the motor a couple of weeks ago and managed to pick up something sticky on the mitt. That in turn picked up some fine grit which made a real dogs breakfast of the bonnet ( the last bit I washed ). Thanks to the polisher and Menzerna everything is now restored to it's proper state. I only found the sticky stuff on the mitt after washing it and had to remove a bit of the pile to get rid of it.
