This popped on and bleeped at me today stating Low Engine Oil Level on a drive to Bath today.
Has not come on since.
I'll check the level tomorrow, as it may be a glitch !!
Car was serviced at last major service on 1/9/17 at 99,682 miles and is now reading 106,239.
No engine oil leaks that I can see.
Obviously, the proof will be the dip stick test, if it does need a top up, what is the best to use from Halfords rather than buying direct from Toyota, which I really don't mind, as this is critical to the car.
Ta very much.
Bobby
PS: I'm enjoying the start of the GP season.

You want a 0W/30 or 5W/30 oil with a C3 rating for that engine. It’s really up to you but I would stop at the very first opportunity and just at least check if there is oil on the dipstick if I saw even the shortest flash of the low oil light.

Cheers, all checked and topped up with 5w-30 Fully Synthetic Petronas Syntium.
I just have to remember that my Rav is getting older and I need to check the POL more frequently.
