That's also a consideration. Stupidly, I am fond of the car and we have owned it for 16 years. Here in Spain, if sold privately, I have been told that it would have a 6 months guarantee, and any faults have to be fixed by the seller in that time! That said, Moroccans tend to love RAV4 petrol autos and will come and take them back to Morocco, never to be see again. My head says sell but my heart.......?

i know the feeling, i have had my 4.2.5 for 10 years now and its needing work done on it, iam looking at an upgrade to a 4.5 but they are not as capable off road.
i think they will do what i need but its still going to be hard to part with the 4.2
