So… I have an oil leak and rather than find it and then discover I don’t have the bits required to fix it, I decided to just find the parts first and then attack the issue. Unfortunately it seems Toyota calls the first series rav obsolete. auto doc has nothing either. And I have checked other sources on line to no avail. the 3sfe has over 300km now but that should be nothing for this engine. I don’t want to scrap my car just because I can’t find parts.
if anyone has some suggestions I’d greatly appreciate them.
thank you Jeremy

As I said last time you asked, these guys seem to stock most parts that you might need: EU Autopezzi (Italy)

So… I have a pretty good idea of the source of the leak. Valve cover. But. It’s an old car and in order to remove the valve cover. To repair that I thought I’d replace the timing belt and the oil pump gasket and water pump a little early because someone else did the work and I’d prefer knowing that I did it. There is also an exhaust stud that was spinning so I want to address that. Basically it’s a 30 year old engine and I want the gaskets so I can replace them if I need them. What I have found so far is that I can get some of the gaskets in X kit and some of the gaskets in Y kit but I can’t seem to get them all in one kit. X kit has the valve cover gasket and the cam plugs but not the spark plug tower gaskets Y kit is a head gasket set but is missing. Several pieces from the pictures I’ve seen. maybe this is he norm for Toyota gasket sets, I was an Audi tech and when I ordered an engine set I got everything in one chunk. I recognize this is an old vehicle Philip42h- I did not see any parts there that I needed and as they are associated with AUTODOC.com likely they have nothing for an XA10. thanks everyone! Jeremy

Best way to identify the oil leak for sure would be to clean down engine and then observe over a few days/runs. Apologies if teaching egg sucking

Jeremy You may well have to buy some gaskets separately, try go for quility brands .. FAI for gaskets and GATES for timing belt/water pump kit 👍🏻
