Opinions...
Put car into reverse to back up a mild hill. Car seemed to jump in and out of reverse without touching gear selector.
Might this be cables needing adjusted, or something horrible?

Never seen anything before about this.

Is the famous ecu problem also with 2007 autos ?

Read that a chap in USA had same problem, but no fix was explained.
Got a price for a used auto box - £1800 !!! Can buy a scrap car for £600 !!
An auto specialist refused as they said they can't get parts for the RAV4 auto box.

Then a chat with my friendly mechanic and he suggested checking the cable/rod connection from lever to box as it might need adjusted...seems more like it.
If all else fails, I can sell it to WBAC and make a profit !!
