Lots of thanks folks. Aside of my birthday, it was also my 21st wedding anniversary, having got married on my 50th birthday - done so I never forget it in my older years!!
We'd a chauffeur driven ride into Glasgow city cebtre (First Bus), with a visit first to St Andrews Cathedral; then walk about until dinner at Mharsanta 4pm. Its a Scotish themed restaurant where the food bill came to £40 and the drinks to £85.
Chauffeur driven home for free, to spend Friday chilling (drying) out. Yesterday, my youngest grandson was 10 so a shooting party had been arranged - various rifles and machine guns using plastic ball bearings. Its a place in Newmilns, previously known as the main centre for stolen cars going to Ireland.
