I am seeking advice on my 2016 Rav4 2.0 (140bhp, manual) diesel with 132000 miles on the clock. I recently purchased it with a problem which I wasn't aware of at the time.
From time to time, the car will accelerate(revs will go higher) on its own with revs screeching and give out a cloud of smoke at the back, and I will have to pull to the hard shoulder to kill the engine.
There are no fault codes. Garage has removed dpf/ egr and mapped it all out but it still has the same issue.
Has anyone got any experience with this issue
