Hello all. I have a 2002 Toyota Rave4 2.0 L ( not diesel) with P0400 code. It idles rough but I can not find the EGR valve. I found out that this year doesn’t have one. Can some one tell me what will cause it to cause this code. The spark plugs were worn so I replaced them but still no change. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. Might be worth cleaning the MAF (Mass Airflow) carefully. You can buy an aerosol for this. If that is dirty it might be mixing up signals to the ecu. Thinking back to the good old days, check the leads to the spark plugs for wear/damage. We used to look at the leads at night time/darkness to see if they were sparking or shorting onto the engine block. Just a thought.
