Ash, for touch2 units, DAB is built in. There's no external module for DAB. Navigation is an external module though. The head units might look the same but they have subtly different part numbers. e.g. 86140-0D160 86140-0D180 etc.... See if you can get the part number fitted to the Yaris off a dealer etc, by giving them the VIN. Or the following is usually reasonably up to date, if you can find your way through it (enter your VIN).. partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/locate?c=ToyotaIf you look at the connector picture for this one: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223542622716The DAB antenna input is the black socket on top right (2 from the right) as you look at the picture, with the FM antenna socket next to it @ top far right. Non-DAB units usually don't have the DAB antenna socket. That one linked to above probably would work, but you're best getting the part number first, as there are a few variants.

Brilliant thanks for that Andy so as long as it’s the same part number as mine it should be ok? If I went for an after market unit similar to the one in my old 4.3 I’m assuming I would lose all the in car system info like the battery charging and stuff.

Yeah, either get the part number of a dealer or parts website (both via the VIN) or release the head unit from the car and read the part number off the top of the unit. Only mentioned the dealer route as it might be slightly easier than initially taking the head unit out. Yep, it's very unlikely an aftermarket unit will do all the hybrid/car related stuff. I'm fairly certain the unit would have to sit on one of the CAN buses and talk Toyota's "CAN dialect" and while that's not impossible I find it unlikely at the moment, but I may be wrong. You can however get some of the hybrid data (and often more detailed) via an OBD adapter e.g. www.amazon.co.uk/OBDLink-427201-ScanTool-Bluetooth-Professional/dp/B00H9S71LW/and used with an app like Hybrid assistant: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=priusfan.info.bthsd10&hl=en_GB&gl=USthere are a fair few of the OBD type apps. Go search. So, I suppose if it was an aftermarket android based headunit, you could run that app or similar paired with/connected to an OBD "dongle" to display some hybrid/car info, but it certainly won't look like how the Toyota head unit presents it.

The Yaris was in for a service a few weeks back and they did a factory reset but it didn’t help and was rebooked in today. They’ve done an upgrade on firmware and it’s working fine now and the set up looks similar to what I had on the old C-HR works fine now so will see how it goes
