Hi I have engine management light on problem with cruise control 4x4 not working abs not working any ideas please Toyota want up to £2500 for new control box 20 10 six speed rav 2.2 deisel

I have vague memories of something to do with brake or clutch switch issue. Hopefully others with better memories will look in soon.

It sounds like the standard triumvirate of lights that show when there is an "engine management" fault - in which case you would need to read the codes to have any real idea what the actual issue is ... As Dave suggests, there is a switch on the clutch pedal that is used by the cruise control system - so that cruise switches off when you depress the clutch - but that sounds like a slightly different issue ... |

as above get the codes read. where are you ? maybe someone close with a reader.

Try the battery disconnect. Leave disconnected for ten minutes then connect it back up. It kinda reboots they cars computers/systems and can cure many issues.
As David says above the brake light switch is a strong possibility but try the disconnect first as it’s free and really does often work.
