My Eclipse Cross has just had its first M.o.t Passed , as it should with only 18k miles. Had it's 3rd annual service too , but it had also developed a small hole in the rear silencer. Right in the centre of the base , about 3mm wide and dripping condensation.
I complained, and it was replaced f.o.c on warranty. They offered me another service plan , 3 more services... at £1300 ! Baring in mind my 4th , next annual service is... £700 !! Anyway, still very happy with it - it's done me proud so far.

Great :TU: Will you be taking the service plan? One thing to consider is that the plan price would mitigate against likely future increase in oil price.

Have a haggle with them on the price of the plan, you never know.

Rambler, Did Mitsubishi offer you an extended factory backed warranty at the same time?

Rambler, Did Mitsubishi offer you an extended factory backed warranty at the same time? It should still be in its original 5 year warranty.

All Mitsubishi UK registered cars from mid 2015 have 5 year warranties…. Limited to 62,000 miles which won’t affect Jamie. So not quite as good as Toyotas warranty 👍👍

So not quite as good as Toyotas warranty 👍👍 There is an extended warranty available, but I doubt I'll do it. Mines guaranteed until June 2024 , but in the book it does not say " whichever comes first " I've studied it word for word. And Matt in at Colchester also says , it's covered upto 62'000 miles. Personally, I can't see it myself. The wording is , 5 years or 62k miles. I can see me keeping it until mid 2024 , depending on what life throws at me. Predictive texting... some of the above spelling 🙄
