Anybody tried it?? www.lanoguard.co.uk/collections/motoWant to try and add some protection to the underside of the MR2 - this stuff seems to be getting a lot of airtime at the moment. Any good, or something better?

I was going to use it but decided after advice to scrub the underside of the car then apply Vactan which not only converts any minute bits of rust but is a very good primer for the Dinitrol that I used as a top/finish coat.
I would now use Lanogaurd as a top up to the above but other than that I don’t think it’s quite up to the job.
The car was my old MX5 and these are cars that rust dreadfully but fortunately my one was very good. It was a preventative measure .

Bothy posted that he had used it here: forum.rav4driversclub.com/post/32069 (now linking to post rather than whole thread) Bothy points out that Lanogaurd needs applying twice a year which is pretty much in line with what the manufacturers say. It’s also why I didn’t use it I did a comprehensive job that means I shouldn’t need to touch it again. That said some that apply Dinitrol which seems to be just about the best regarded treatment on here and on the MX5 forum still spray over the top with Lanogaurd. I’m not sure whether I will or won’t but my old car hardly ever gets used and definitely never when it’s wet so for me to do it would be overkill I think. I think it’s a decent product but it doesn't quite hit the nail hard enough for me. 👍👍 It’s certainly better than nothing though that’s for sure .. One of the guys on the MX5 Owners forum used this product and decided to go for a complete scrub and seal with Dinitrol and reported that he had to get the Lanogaurd steam cleaned off …..
