Our daughter was in Costco today and was looking at the Pink tubs of the Simoniz car shampoo and Carnauba wax as she knew i was running out of the one i am currently using now and a bloke there told her it was a good shampoo as he's been using it for years so she bought me a tub think it was about £6 for a 5L tub. So does anyone on here use it and if so is it any good? At the moment i have been using Autoglym Shampoo on the cars.

Simonez is ok nowt wrong with it but it’s weak so you use a lot. Trust me on this one the Carnuaba content of shampoos and even top quality wax is minuscule to the point of near nothing. Carnuaba is taken from a tree in the Brazilian rain forest and is worth more per Oz than 24Ct gold. I have a pot of Zymol Concours wax in the garage that cost £370 25 years ago and yes it has carnuaba in it but less than 1%……

We have hard water at home so I clear the cars using water from a rainwater butt 👍🏻
