Have to say , still hav'nt managed to get Charlie's tyres yet
But these bfg's, blimey..... Wow , 8" of fresh snow this morning What...... Snow???
First chance in decent snow in our area , 10 miles to work. Tbh... may be I got too confident. Couldn't believe it. It just grips! Incredible...
Even on hills , roundabouts... nothing stops it

That’s good. I am driving around on summer tyres in sub zero Worcestershire! No real snow on the road but other drivers worry me with them still speeding arylike it’s mid- summer!
I wish I had my cross climate tyres still - but that wouldn’t help the other crazy drivers!

Must admit , I was so confident I decided to tow a Bmw out of a predicament.
Just hooked him up , very slowy off a major roundabout to a side road out of everyone's way.
He even gave me £10 for my trouble.
My good deed for the day 😊

i must admit i have been enjoying the sight of cars not even being able to get up slight slopes here...... they back down and give up, i just breeze up the slope/hill lol. bet they were muttering something under their breath lol my slightly aggressive michelins are fine in the snow, cross contacts i think, not sure.

At one point about 3 miles into my drive to work , i go down a steep hill. I guess it's 1 in 4 or 5 , I sat at the top.... looked down , every time we have snow it's always really bad there. Only 4wds get up there, so I went down - no-one else around apart from 4 cars at the bottom spinning tyres... not a chance!
So.... halfway down I decided to try to reverse up , no-one behind me. In perhaps 6" or more of snow, up i went.... no problem reversing with hazards on. Easy... just to see if it would do it , not a single wheel slip for several metres... I was stunned. I've never seen any vehicle reverse up there in snow in 20 years. Let alone me driving it.. yahoooooo.
I then drove down again past the cars and continued to work. Passed an Audi spinning it's tyres on another hill ( poor b@@@er ) Then helped the Bmw near work. tbh... I wish I'd helped the Audi now 😉
But... now, I'm well pleased with this Rav and these tyres for what I bought them for. 👍
