Hi All
Just to say hello & glad to be here with a hope of getting some help with a few issues with both of our Rav4's! We have an old 2003 2L D4D XT4 which is manly used as a work/fishing wagon and is great fun with it's BFG all terrain tyres but it's had few issues with a dodgy EGR valve & limp mode loss of power & delay in response when you put your foot down?? Our second car is a 2013 2.2L D4D Invincible which is suffering with white/grey smoke (lots of it and a nasty smell!!) at intervals of approx 50miles & lasts for a few miles before vanishing again so think it's related to the DPF regeneration cycle, apart from the smoke it drives great with plenty of power.
Cheers Saul

:welcome: to the club Saul :TU: Ref 2.0L RAV - have fault codes been read? have the SCVs been ruled out? Has the fuel filter been changed anytime recently? Ref 2.2L RAV - short journeys or good long runs?
