The Honda that is back in Israel has a JVC aftermarket system, but it is not working that well - the touch screen half not working and also the remote seem to half work. When I got the car I got the car I got the original fascia that contains the original radio - I do not know if it is working or not, but it is a system from 2010, and does not have usb port or external connection.
I thought of buying an fitting a new system - I do not want something expensive, just something that works. Is there any issues I need to be aware of before ordering such a system? I'll make sure that the physical size matches so hope that will not be an issue.
Suggestions are welcome
many Thanks

Similar to battery chargers, there are some real crap infotainment units out there, some which have a predisposition to dashboard melting. Avoid Chinese tat ones like the plague, and would suggest a second hand good name like Pioneer would be better than a NEW piece of crap. Five gets you ten even your JVC is a copy, or just badged in the Far East. Pioneer, Panasonic (Matsushita) may be built in China, but still higher quality.

Just avoid Chinese crap; it’s easy to check where the stuff is manufactured. At the end of the day you really don’t want to contribute to the CCP. As BK says go for quality: Pioneer, Alpine, JBL, etc. YGWYPF.😊
