Speculating wildly, since I really don't know and wild speculation is fun, yesterday we had two forms of E5 petrol - unleaded at 95 RON and super unleaded at 97/98 RON. Tomorrow standard unleaded (E5 95 RON) will be replaced with E10 95 RON. The 'old' E5 97/98 RON will continue to be available for cars that can't run on E10 or that need 97/98 RON fuel. It could be that she picked up 97/98 RON fuel that might make the car run better? Or it could be E10 ...

I think the petrol she put in was from a shell garage when i was in the Rav last but has since put Tescos petrol in the other night but it is always just unleaded, never put super in so i don't know, but i always thought when i used to drive, my cars ran well felt better when i put Shell in, but Mrs P always puts Shell in when she can, but last week it felt totally different when she was driving it, as i say smoother, quieter and more nippier?
