Having trouble selecting 1st and 2nd gear and reverse. Had the clutch cylinder replaced also the cylinder on the gearbox. It is a little better when I pump the clutch pedal it sometimes seems to be ok at first then starts to play up again. Also had the system bled about 4 times. Any advise please.TIA.

Sorry it's a 2008 mk3 2.2d4d rav4 Welcome Juan. Have you checked the clutch master cylinder? It does sound like a hydraulic problem.

Have the gear linkage cables been checked between the selector and the gearbox?

Thanks for replying.Had New master cylinder fitted and now will get cables checked between selector and gear box thanks Davrav.
