No.2 daughter just bought herself this as her present to herself for passing her CIMA finals. 19-reg with only 19 miles on the clock. Brand new but surplus to a broker's bulk order so the Alfa dealer bought it back. Lovely little 1.4 turbo, goes like stink and has muti-mode suspension.

Ooooh, an Alfa, nice, proper petrolhead's motor Not normally a fan of white cars, but that suits it tbh. Nice clean lines, always liked cars with the hidden rear door handles, think it looks good. "What car do you drive?"..."an Alfa"...does sound

"What car do you drive?"..."an Alfa"...does sound Indeed. Lovely thing and they’re built well these days. Driveway’s monochrome now: white Saab, white Audi, white Alfa, black Disco and silver RAV. Yes, “I drive an Alfa” sounds a bit grander than “I drive an Aygo”!😂

I like that.... No one quite makes cars that look as cool as Alfa. That one with the triple headlights side by side is a masterpiece of design.
Everyone must own an Alfa as least once 👍👍👍

I had my experience of an Alfa with a 60s Guilia in the 70s. Lovely car, handled brilliantly, luscious red leather interior but in those days the rust was a non-optional extra! The engine was an absolute peach until it blew a hole in the piston but that's another story. when we were at the Alfa dealer, they had a couple of Fiat 124 Abarths; I am tempted.......

Alfa is just wan of those marques I have never taken to. Brother had a twin carb 2 litre in the early 80’s……lovely sound and performance. Engine self destructed at bonkers low mileage……..oil sender unit proved to be not functioning, so ran low on oil. Not empty. £3k rebuild and got rid.

That’s whether they deserve it or not. Some of you may recall when I was hankering after the V6 spider and everyone told me I was nuts..... Still love that car and for the money are quite some motor. 3.0 V4 AWD and one of the sexiest convertibles ever..... But I wouldn’t want to own an Alfa out or warranty.👍👍

Times change though and these days their reliability is up there with the best. They even give 5 year warranties now. To be honest, I told our girl to be sure that she was prepared to give up Toyota’s almost total reliability in favor of what is, to be fair, something that may fall short. But if I thought that it was anything like Alfas of old, I would have persuaded her not to have it. In the end, time will tell.😊

I said I was looking myself not long ago but bottled it due to the advice I was given here and on Pistonheads a site I go on often. So there’s me putting him off and I’ve never owned one ! Adding of course to the reputation 😳😳😳 All cars are a risk some more or less than others. If ever the right perfect V6 drops in front of me I think I would roll the dice .....

Life’s too short and if it all went tits up, so what? You’d just flog it and move on to something else. There’s much worse that could befall any of us than a dodgy set of wheels.😊
