Unusual , her stereo screen has stopped working. We can hear the radio, but there's no visual display. It turns on / off - but a blank black screen appears.
She has a few weeks of warranty left.

Go to your garage. They will probably do a software update first... Mine was replaced also with a few weeks left on the warranty.

...before you do that, turn the ignition off and turn it back on again. If you don't see a Toyota logo on the screen, for a few seconds after you turn the key, book it in @ the garage. If you do see the logo, hit the setup key (probably second button down on the right, which should bring the screen back on), or any other key. There is a "screen off" mode, which can be accessed via the setup key and the "setup/display menu".
The "screen off" mode may have been activated? If not, there's probably a problem.
(Assuming this is something like a 2013+ Yaris).

Yeah, I'm usually the scenic ruminant (scapegoat). "Multi plug loose @ rear" reminds me of a "joke" about a pig, a monkey and a scientist, but it is **** joke. Anyway, this unit, probably B9004? If so, unlikely to be a plug problem. May just be something relatively simple like the screen backlight. ......been a while since I had one of those apart.........

Just tried the set up button , nothing happens. Thanks anyway 👍
