Hi.
my 2004 2.0 d4d have some engine trouble.
After driving for 20 min. or so, when engine reaches propper operational temperature, I loose power when going under 1500-2000 rpm.
If I let the rpm fall to low, the engine goes in to limp mode. it will stay at idle for a little while before it shuts down. it is not possible to drive the vehicle, or rev the engine at all.
If i keep the revs at 2000+rpm, the engine works fine.
I get the fault code p0093, which translate into large fuel leak on hp side.
when the engine cools down, it works fine again.
I replaced the SCV valves and fuel filter, but no luck.
I wonder if someone have experienced the same synptoms?
Br.
Daniel

thanks guys hopefully some bright minds can help me out. I tried hooking the vehicle up to a delphi tester today. seems like the feedback value for some of the injector is changing to 0 when the fault occurs. however the values was not as accurate as on an original toyota tester, but it might provide some guidance. br. Old post but i’ll try my luck🤞🏼 I have the same problem with my 2005 d4d, did you ever find out what the problem was? I’ve changed the scv, filter and rail pressure sensor with no luck
