:welcome: to the club Gary.
I would think screw in towing eye is mandatory unless there are front and back towing points attached as part of the structure. Is this a new car? As to pliers, screwdriver and spanners, not sure. Do bear in mind that the manual probably covers several versions of RAV.

So, what is the spec of the car of which you will become the owner on Monday? Model, year, variant & options needed - 'cos the 'kit' you get can vary ... Edit: Assuming it's a current / recent Dynamic - if you specified the Panoramic Roof you get: - An emergency repair kit
- A towing eyelet
but no jack, jack handle, wheel nut wrench or tool bag (or, indeed, spare tyre).
If you didn't specify the Panoramic Roof you get:
- A temporary spare tyre
- A jack
- A jack handle, wheel nut wrench and towing eyelet (contained in a tool bag)
but no screw driver, pliers or wrenches / spanners
Where the manual says "if equipped" it means you probably don't get it in the UK unless it was an option that you specifically paid for!

When we bought the C-HR we only had the emergency tyre repair kit and the towing eye. I did query about the jack and was told they no longer supply them. I should’ve asked the reason why to be honest but didn’t.
