Also had a look on euro car parts and they are showing two sensors at different prices, are the sensors all the same?

Clear codes anyway 👍🏻 Not 100% sure but think 2 of the sensors are the same but wiring looms longer, so each one will have its own part number, if your code reader is temperamental you’re better off going to garage and get it read so the correct part is purchased.

Just tried the code reader again and this time it said no codes but the EML is still on? Bit strange, Paul. Do you have a handbook for the reader? If not you may be able to download one from the web. Usually in the menu there is the option to erase codes.
If the EML is still lit but there's no codes and the car was running OK with the EML on, I wouldn't be in a big hurry to replace the sensor. There may be a duff connection behind the dash or at the fuse box.
It might be worth disconnecting the battery for 10 minuites and see if the EML is out when you re-connect. Also you could then use the reader to check if there are any codes, just to be sure. If all is well then monitor the situation to see if the code comes back.

I do have the manual Jim but as i say it doesn't do what it says when following the step by step guide i have different numbers show on the LCD screen, so watched a youtube video but again different numbers show but got the jist of what to do. I did disconnect the battery but only for a couple of minutes so will try leaving it longer :TU: Spoke to my brother who works at JLR and he said even the cars they have come through have the EML showing but nothing is wrong with em? Will it be ok to drive still

Looks a bit basic I feel the one I listed above would be money well spent . I’m on my second scanner tool, first one was cheap poo and unreliable, let’s face it when you need one you want it to work properly.
