Looks good Bob Must have fitted them to 5 or more of my cars now, thats Toyota’s logic in making the same hole for different models 👍🏻

Several reasons, it was half paid for by the dealer so cost was Just over £30, I wouldn’t be using the vehicle on a daily basis maybe not even weekly so the reserve cranking amps is worth it to me . Some say it then takes more charging from the alternator. my last Rav4 i fitted the bigger battery and it never gave me any issues starting or charging . Old battery 45Ah 450 cca. , new Yuasa 72Ah 630 cca.

I put a Yuasa 5000 in the Saab last winter. Don't think I would use any other make now. 👍

So thanks for the heads up Bob.

Must admit i remember a thread on the old old forum about fitting the bigger Diesel battery to the petrol engined Rav and concerns about it fitting, but to date we have never fitted one and the batteries we've used have been fine, even in the winter months, but the Rav was always kept in the garage over night, and the last two years/winters it has been kept on the drive so would it be worth investing in one??

A bigger battery suits my personal usage of maybe weekly or fortnightly usage, if you use a car every day it’s difficult to justify the extra cost .....basically the choice is yours 👍🏻
