Does anyone know if the boot liner from a 5 door 2003 Rav can be converted/altered to fit a 3 door 2004? There is one local to us up for grabs for £10.

Boot liner in a three door, even the bespoke wan, looks utterly daft imho. A butchered wan even more so. That space can be covered by a hanky.

I had a small shopping list and a boot liner was one of those ...dont seem them come up on eBay anymore and would guess like the mudflaps are no longer sold new....so when the time is right I will buy a universal one and cut it to fit . My last 3 door I made a Lexus IS200 liner fit with a little snipping 😎 As to a Rav4 5 door fitting the arches are closer to the back door on a 3 door, so you would have to cut a 10" section right across the back....guess it would work if its cheap enough 👍🏻

However bad you cut the sides down it can be tucked under the side plastic trim 👍🏻👍🏻

What started it was i found THIS place the other day and according to their website they had them in stock along with a lot of other items such as side and rear steps, but turns out they have hardly got anything, but i did order the liner as it said it was available but it wasn't. We will be using the Rav to take garden waste and other rubbish to the tip eventually as the garden bin collection here went up from £28 a year to £50 a year, so have been storing all the garden waste for a few months now due to lockdown, but fortunately my mate was able to take it all in his Hilux which was filled. Our tip is appointment only now and is always fullt booked but my mates tip you can still just turn up at the moment providing you want to queue for five hours or more . I thought the 3 door liner went under the rear seats covering most the floor space when the seats were taken out which was why i thought the 5 door liner might do?

Yes it does go under the seats ..with a 5 door mat you would have to trim it both ends 👍🏻
