It's a little more than platform sharing - it's pretty much the same car coming off the Toyota production line. Suzuki have announced pricing for the Across - from £45,599 ... see cars.suzuki.co.uk/new-cars/across/ (and scroll down 'til you find it) Meanwhile, Toyota have introduced the Black Edition to the RAV4 2021 line-up and tweaked some specs and prices across the range ... but there's still absolutely no sign of the PHEV ... Still glad that I didn't wait! I’d better keep looking after my Diesel then cos hell will freeze over before I pay 45 K for a jap SUV........ It will be worth 25 by the time it’s a year old.

Way to complex for me. Way too pricy as well..... Cars are becoming horribly complicated. I agree Charlie, trouble is we live in a techy world now - the more they can cram into a car the better. I didn't know until recently you could tune exhausts and gearboxes 😕 Exhaust is just a pipe with baffles to me , and as for a gearbox... it's just a lever for gear change. Unfortunately without all the technology you are back to the days where a 1300 mk1 ford escort was fairly gutless and did 35mpg. Regarding exhausts an old friend used to do hydroplane boat racing, his exhaust was adjustable so he could change it during the race.

Me watching utube videos from people like shmee, Mr Jww, supercars of London. Archie Hamilton racing. They all drive serious cars with exhaust valves. All tunable for performance. And way out of my league. But... it's good to see others doing their dream job.
