Was all over Nairn yesterday trying to get a bliddy cough bottle, knowing it may come in handy if The Bug should strike.
Sold oot everywhere.....raging at panic buying people...!
Went into Boots as last resort, and they had got some in........superb.....!
Left the shop, and saw wife across road looking disheartened in our search too. I suppose on hindsight, leaving a chemist shop shouting “Ah’ve got the Covonia” nowadays is ill advised.......all these hard of hearing auld folk in Nairn........suddenly they formed a jogging club.....!

I have to say, that once all this dies down we shall be looking at getting our tin stock built up over the next 6 months, we have a cupboard in the garage which is under the house stairs, it's not used as it's awkward to get to. Probably a metre cube space, I think we will be filling the space with tinned food as a JIC for the future.

Keeping a stock of stuff is fine as long as you appreciate that a best before date is advisory and not that the food becomes instantly poisonous, and has to be carried to the bin with protective gloves. The amount of stuff that is currently being thrown away by people who panic bought is disgusting, if veg is getting a bit tired cut the bad bits out and make a soup, just use a bit of commen sense, we just started using some plum jam made in 2007. The only reservations i would make is fish and meat, but even with that your nose is a good indicator.
