That's a Mk1 so better reliability and build than the later ones that have been infected with lots of Regie bits that have destroyed Nissan's reputation in recent years. I think that Hoovie had one of these a while back, maybe ask him what he thought of it.

And the CR-V, forgot to mention that one,i like the look.

I did have a Qashqai indeed. It was the original style (the one on the link was the same but with facelifted front end) This was mine the day I picked it up ... 2010_04274160079 by David, on Flickr Was officially used, but one day old with delivery miles Mine was the Tekna model, like the one in the link - that is the top model in the range. I loved the big panoramic roof. 2010_04274160084 by David, on Flickr Mine was a 1.5DCi Diesel and it was an extremely comfortable car - did a road trip to Italy in it ... 4,000 miles in 10 days and never missed a beat or any discomfort. But having said that it didn't really have enough character for me at the time and I sold after 20 months. My 'desires' for motoring have changed since 10 years ago and I would be perfectly happy with having one of those again. Checking the MOT history it looks like it has been very reliable with the only fails being due to a lazy owner (bulbs out, tyres below min tread, that kind of thing).

I think that in your position I might PM Kingo and see what might have access to.

It’s below market value so could be scratched about or just up on miles . It just might be one hell of a good time to buy a car. Unless they sell some, dealers will just be racking up big overheads with noting coming in. OK, there may be Government support but it I can't see it being used to support shareholders.

I'd have another 4.3 without any question.
TBH I don't like the look of the 4.4 + didn't think it drove as well either.
4.3 was easy to work on, ran mine on a shoestring budget and it's still going strong (sold to my best mate).
The rear door can be a pain though!!

been online looking at all options and keep getting drawn back to the rav4. looked at seat, only larger versions are AWD, if they did a small suv in AWD i would be interested. skoda kodiaq etc are a bit out of the price range as are the vw range, even though i love the wifes 1.2 TSI polo. the search continues. good job i have losts of time on my hands, job is saafe getiing 80% pay, but god its boring stuck at home. glad i have Ham radio and pc would be climbing the walls otherwise ( being a shooter/country person i like to be out and about!) stay safe stu
