Hi Everyone,
I'm on the market for a 5 door manual Toyota Aygo 2014 New shape onwards for my daughter, must have full Toyota service history, 2 keys and preferably no major (if any) MOT advisories and don't want to spend more than £6k.
Seen a few, some good, some terrible.
Oddly enough, two I saw only had one key. Any ideas how much Mr T will charge for a replacement as a spare, must be the full remote locking key.
I want to factor this in to my budget and use it to negotiate.
Thanks.

Looking around the Aygo forums ....looking like £140 ish 😳 Not sure if the keys are like the original Aygo ..one is a remote with two buttons the second key you can only open the door with the key...no buttons .

I think that your 6k budget is pretty reasonable for a 2014+ Aygo. Our daughter picked up a 2016 3-dr, one owner, FTSH, 30K miles, new All-season tyres and really immaculate bodywork for under 5K. The dealer did comment about how hard it is at the moment to find good Aygos at reasonable money and this one turned up rather unexpectedly. Good luck with your search.

My daughter has a 2013 model. I drove it the ones day and was surprised for a small car it wasn’t bad at all. She had an IQ before that which was surprisingly quite a decent car.

My daughter has a 2007 Aygo that she loves! Must have owned for 3 years - bought cheap and not had any problems. Only one key though! Would have worried me but has been a great buy for her!

Have a look at a Peugeot 108. You can usually buy the same for less or newer for the same and it’s the same car. In my opinion it’s slightly better looking considering it came down the same production line.

I don't have any experience with Peugeot, dependability, running costs, residual value etc and I think my daughter is set on a Aygo. I've sent her the link anyway.
I've been with Lexus and Toyota for over 20 years and it does what it says on the tin and I've got a very good relationship with my local Toyota dealer.
I'll look in the Peugeot myself.
Thanks.

It is a Toyota Aygo. It just has Peugeot badges.

In simple terms, what's the difference between the VVT-ix- pure and the VVT-ix-pression, I'm still researching and I'm looking at these two, the Pure has got 14k miles and is a private sale at £5990 and is a 2016 model and is advertised as IMMACULATE the Pression has got 66k miles and is a garage sale at £4700 and is a 2015 model. Both are white, 2 sets of keys and FTSH, both are white, which it has to be.
Unfortunately, money wise, I'm gearing towards the private sale.
