Anyone solved code p0093 starts OK engine sounds sweet running and ticking over but cuts out after a minute starts back up but won't rev

Yer I've Google it it gives a variety of solutions but not one specific item says this fixed the problem and Toyota want 90 quid to plug it in then charge more to investigate

Sounds like a fuel pump issue, go to either an independent Toyota or just 'normal' garage

Julian,
If you search "the other place" (where you are known as 'oilcan') you will find several threads where P0093 has been discussed / addressed. Specifically posters are pointed towards the suction control valve and there appears to be a bulletin relating to modified SCVs that could / should be installed.
But, beyond that, I get the overriding impression that there is no "code defines a specific item that is a fault" for P0093 ...

Yer I am Phil thanks for you advice I'm just undecided what to change 1st as I've bought it very very very cheap and I'd like to hit the jackpot by hitting the offending part 1st time lol
