I wouldn't even bother working it out - just enjoy your car. We all have different priorities and you have chosen your car based on a good colour, reliable manufacturer, suitability for your lifestyle, and your geographical location. Fuel consumption will be more than a small hybrid but won't bust the bank. Enjoy!

Well , had a little test today.
It was brim filled , I took it to a lovely village 22 miles away. And 22 miles back home.
Drove conservatively , 70mph ish on A roads for 10 miles. 40 ish on narrow country lanes , even tried out the 4wd a little.
No problem.
Thought it may use 1/4 tank at least.
Fuel guage didn't move from full.
Good enough for me 😊

Thanks to Charlie, I now drive a three litre twin turbo Jagyouare, Jamesy.......when I brim fill it, it takes about 60 miles for the gauge to move........my point.....fill it up, use more than half a tank or even lower......do your sums from there.......I bet that car NEVER goes under aboot 40-45 mpg.

Thanks Kev 👍 With my old Rav4 it used to use more diesel from 1/2 tank downwards. I.e. the tank held less from that point. Drove to work and back today , another 20 miles... guage still reads full. Happy days 👍😊 Hope the jag you are is making you smile 🤣🤣

Well , had this Mitsi a few weeks now. It's about the same as the Rav4 to run , in my daily life. £25 a week ish.
Off to Thetford forest next weekend, so a little 130 mile round trip.
See how it does with cruise on.

I'm afraid I'm a fair weather mountain biker. It's the cleaning of the bike after all the mud that doesn't appeal. I like to keep my bike clean and looked after 👍 In the summer... it's great fun. I have a Giant Xtc carbon fibre , blue & white.

For me I need a car I can get as close to our door as possible. This is to reduce the walking to an absolute MINIMUM!!!!! I hate walking.
The IQ being short helps me get close as well as it runs on fumes you know. Not sure if I ever mentioned that....

Walking is very healthy chaps.
Great for the heart , as is all exercise.
Driving is fun too , and we all enjoy our cars.
Particularly those with twin turbos 🤔
And those that run on fumes too 👍
Right.. I'm off for a swim.
