If I wash it with Turtle wax and rain water , will it wash supaguard off ? Sorry . . I'm a little nieve ๐ค Our 3-dr has Supaguard which seems to have been applied well. It gets washed with Simonize Wash/Wax about once a week and dried off with Last Touch detailer and a drying towel. I've also waxed it a couple of times with Megiures as well as Simonize Colour Wax. So far the Supaguard still seems to be intact. Hmm. Drying towel ? I've been drying with microfibre cloths so far. But it takes ages and constantly rinsing / wringing out.

But it takes ages and constantly rinsing / wringing out. I have 4 big fluffy yellow towels that I use in rotation. They're very absorbent and I never need more than one to do a car. They seldom need wringing out either. I have also got one of those synthetic "miracle" drying towels from Costco about a year ago but haven't got around to using it yet because my current towels are so good.

Guys.. Should any of these towels be washed before useing ? I don't wash mine Jamie I just wet em in the bucket of water and wring out as much as I can then start drying off. Make sure you take any labels off as well. And when you do wash em don't use any softener/conditioner. Think that's right anyroad

Guys.. Should any of these towels be washed before useing ? Usually washed after every dry unless there are no stains at all (and tou will, with the best will in the world, get some marks as they dry, particularly around the sill bottoms, etc. As Paul says though don't use any fabric conditioner just a normal wash per the washing instructions.

Not if it's got an N43 2.0L engine with chocolate timing chains and playdoh tensioners!
Best take it to the scrapyard now.

Best take it to the scrapyard now. That engine is from about 1842, you need to move on fella...
