So the Yaris needs some front discs and pads. Should I stick with Toyota stuff?? Or save a few quid and try Delphi or Pagid from euros? In other news, managed to track an annoying rattle to a loose a/c pipe - cable tie to the rescue and all is now quiet. Warming to this car a little now. Have to say the ride is surprisingly good. Make sure that aircon pipe totally secure.....same happened on wife’s previous 3 door Rav, but eventually rubbed a bliddy pinhole in the aluminium pipe. £400.00 later, sortificated......only real cash that car ever cost us. You've got me a little worried, Uncle Kev, as I've never come across any problems with the air-con on the various 4.2s we've had. The only aluminium pipe that's visible is a fiarly big one in the engine bay but it seems pretty well mounted in rubber. Can you give some details of whereabouts yours had a problem??

In behind front bumper Jamesy.....needs to be up on ramp to view...….took a very eagle eyed Toyota apprentice to spot it at Arnie's as he saw TINY traces of blue test dye come oot and spray on to radiator.

Ah, yes. I know that one. I'll take a look when it stops raining!
Thanks, BK. :TU:

So, lavished a bit of tlc on the wee car over the last couple of days - it's had a busy life over lockdown. Seats and carpets shampooed yesterday, thanks mum :TU:. Did a wheels off wash a couple of days ago so managed to claybar, back to black and polish yesterday, just needs a wax now but the weather is awful today. It's turning out to be a great little shopping car. Best thing - the ride is superb. Worst - it is just a bit too slow to 25-30mph??!!
