Just thought I would share what I done with my Rav4.2 and it’s chequered past. When I bought it it had minimal paperwork with only a few local one man band services in its later life. Considering it’s age it felt remarkably solid which was making me think it must of been looked after but fell short of a careless owner that lost its history!
Long story short I signed up to the following on the Toyota website
www.toyota.co.uk/apps/customerportal#/
Tapped in the reg and a full itemised main dealer history appeared right back to 2006, I rung the dealers and they posted all the paperwork through. I know have a very fat service file!
Still not sure about its life before 2006 though, still searching!
