Just got back from test driving a 2016 top of the range Renault Kadjar auto petrol.
It had absolutely everytjing that I could possibly have wanted, except Android Auto and Apple Carplay, but did advertise it had this, but did have it's own sat nav system, I'm not interested in manufacturers in built systems at all.
It also had 19" alloys which would get damaged very easily.
I was impressed.
Just for anyone who is interested, We Buy Any Car offered £4100, but has gone up to £4500, the Evans Halshaw dealer offered £3k (I'd rather set fire to it and cook marshmallows over it).
I'm always window shopping, keeping Rav for a while yet, but changing will be on the horizon soon.

Gotta say Regie are producing some very nicely styled cars at present. The tie up with Nissan has improved their build quality and reliability. However the reverse seems to apply to Nissan which seems to have been infected with some of Renault's flaws.

Would rather walk than buy ANY French car........ Had a Peugeot 406 when I lived in Paris. Lovely car, good handling, very comfortable and 100% reliable.

At £3K or even £4.1K I might be interested if you find decide to swap, depending on mileage/condition etc.

If/when the time comes, I'll post it here first, but if i sell it privately, I'll put more research into the price and I would be in no rush to sell it.
Its hit the 125k mark, but it's in excellent condition inside and out, no dings or dents and full dealer history from start to finish.
But that's only my opinion 😂
If the dealer offered £5k today, I would have given it more thought.

Had a 405 which i replaced at 220k miles with a 406 which i hoped would do the same... at 120k it gave the ghost, with a rpair bill twice the cars' worth. That is when i moved to Toyota.

Had loads of Citroens for 20 years, had very little problems with them, had a few Renaults as well they were only susceptible to electrical issues

Older french cars were far better engine wise than today’s offerings. But that’s down to the emissions gubbins that blights so many brands.
Personally I’m no fan of french cars but they are OK.....

Had a 406 Executive, Jim......1996.....2litre petrol turbo.......dark blue wiff cream leather and carpets (perfect for Scottish climate....) Best car ever had in ma puff......fast, quiet reliable. Boss had a 520 BMW but preferred my Peugeot. Prior to that and after, had wan Citroen and two Renault Lagunas, hence my disrespect for French cars......two Lagunas were utter pish.....naw.....dangerous.....

I don't rate Regies and never have but, as I said, recent ones have got really nice styling and do benefit from the Nissan alliance. I have always thought PSA stuff was much, much better.
